Morocco : A new Dari Couspate factory to open in Salé

An agreement to open a new Dari Couspate factory was signed Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Rabat by the Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy, and the Director General of the company, Hassan Khalil.

The plant is going to be the third of its kind in Morocco, said the company in a statement sent Friday to Yabiladi. The project is expected to cost 92 million dirhams and generate 100 new direct jobs, the same source added.

«This agreement aims to support the investment of Dari Couspate operating in the pasta and couscous industry», explains the press release.

The ministry recalls that the pasta and couscous sector has 18 companies in Morocco, which achieve a turnover of two billion dirhams, including 364 million dirhams for export.
