A delegation of 10 representatives from different British schools is visiting Morocco this week to discuss ways of «establishing partnerships» with Moroccan investors, the British embassy said in a communiqué sent Tuesday to Yabiladi.

The British representatives will stay in Morocco until the 4th of July and will be meeting during this visit «prospective partners» to «assess the Moroccan market» for future partnerships in the field of education.

This visit comes after the UK Secretary of State for International Trade Liam Fox flew to Morocco last month with the «goal of opening more British schools» in the country. In the Kingdom, Fox announced that the «final stages of Parliamentary ratification of the UK/Morocco Education Agreement had been completed», the same source reported.

Lauding the initiative, British ambassador to Morocco Thomas Reilly said that «the British education system has much to offer». «I would like to see more British education here in Morocco : there is so much the British and Moroccan education systems can achieve together», he added.
