The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has announced on Wednesday, 1st of October that Morocco offered to share its experiences on counter-terror and de-radicalization initiatives with India, reports Outlook India.

The decision was taken during a meeting the Minister Delegate to the Interior Minister, Noureddine Boutayeb and his Indian counterpart, Kiren Rijiju both attended on Tuesday. According to the same source, Boutayed stressed on the fact that «Morocco is emerging as a key counter-terror and de-radicalization partner in North Africa and would like to share with India its experiences in this field».

On the other hand the Indian official accepted Morocco’s offer insisting that India is targeted by terrorism. Boutayeb accompanied with a delegation is visiting India to study the Indian experience of Aadhaar, crime criminal tracking network and system.

On this occasion, Rijiju requested Morocco to adopt a liberal visa regime for Indians and facilitate visas for businessmen while the Moroccan minister asked for establishing an e-visa for the kingdom’s citizens.
