On Thursday, national football team coach Walid Regragui unveiled the list of 26 players selected for the upcoming matches against Gabon and Lesotho on September 6 and 9, respectively, at the Grand Stadium of Agadir. These matches are part of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025), to be held in Morocco.
Following the draw, Morocco, already qualified as hosts, was placed in Group B alongside Gabon, Central Africa, and Lesotho. The final phase of the Afcon 2025 will take place from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
